    Meat
Broadstairs is blessed with an excellent butcher on the High Street - Chef & Butcher offers a great choice.

    Fish
Broadstairs’ only fishmonger (as far as we know) is Fruits de Mer. They can be found on the Broadway (just past the train station).

    Fruit & Veg
J Prentis offers a great choice of seasonal produce (much larger than the supermarkets in town).

    Drink
The Bottleneck on Charlotte Street stocks an excellent range of wine and beer. The choice of products from the local area is particularly impressive.

  • supermarket trolley

    supermarkets

There are three small supermarkets in Broadstairs Town Centre: Tesco Metro, Iceland and Co-op. Tesco is the closest and probably the largest, opposite Iceland with Co-op further up the hill towards the train station.

Within a short drive or bus ride you can find most of the large supermarket chains:

    Aldi - Ramsgate & Margate
Asda - en route to Westwood Cross
    Lidl - Westwood Cross
    M&S - Westwood Cross
    Morrisons - Margate
    Sainsburys - Westwood Cross
    Tesco Extra - Westwood Cross
    Waitrose - Ramsgate

Also worthy of note in Broadstairs is the excellent Rueanthai Shop. It stocks a fantastic range of Asian food products.

  • pharmacies

Broadstairs is well served by 3 pharmacies on the High Street. Closest is Boots at the bottom of the hill. Near Pierremont Hall is the Pierremont Pharmacy. Opposite the station is Paydens, which also doubles as one of the town’s Post Offices.

Without a prescription counter but carrying a lot of pharmaceutical products and toiletries, Savers on the High Street is also worth consideration.

For an alternative offering, the Broadstairs Herbal Apothecary is well-stocked and a very short walk from Broadstairs.
